School Council

Our School Council was established in the Autumn term of 2004 to give pupils in school a forum through which to 'voice' their ideas and concerns.  Each class from Year 3 to Year 6 has two representatives, a boy and a girl, who were chosen by their classmates.  The school councillors for the remainder of the academic year 2008 - 2009 are:

Class 3L:

  Joshua Ebanks & Ava Micklewright

Class 3V:

  Zain Hanan & Amy McNulty

Class 4H:

  Daniella Kamal & Adnan Yusuf

Class 4N:

  Jamal Chambre & Fowziya Osman

Class 5B:

  Tyler Fox & Tia Njie

Class 5G:

  Robyne Denny & Luke Hugo

Class 6B:

  Nooradean Ahmed & Valerie Zebrokova

Class 6M:

  Abdul Koser & Rebecca McNulty

The school council essentially seeks the views of all children in the school and reports them to the Headteacher. School council meetings are held every Monday afternoon between 1:30pm and 2:15pm at which the information gained from class councils is discussed and suggestions and decisions are made regarding the forward development of the school.

Once every half term, our school council has a joint meeting with schools in the local area to discuss common issues and share ideas and practices.
