Positive home/school relationships are encouraged in order that we can work together for your child to fully benefit from all our school has to offer.
We ask that all children and their parents agree to sign our 'Home School Agreement', so that along with a school signature, we are all working in partnership to improve standards within an environment of trust. All newcomers to our school will receive this agreement on arrival.
Home School Agreement
Parents/Carers agree to:
- Support school in promoting high standards of behaviour
- Discuss the school rules with their child and stress their importance
- Attend meetings as required to discuss their child's behaviour
- Discuss with school any issues that may affect their child's work or behaviour
School agree to:
- Insist on high standards of work and behaviour from the whole school community
- Ensure that rules and expectations are applied consistently and fairly
- Discuss the school rules with children and explain the need for everyone to behave properly
- Inform parents/carers of any concerns or problems that affect their child's work or behaviour at school
- Provide advice and help to parents/carers so that they can support the school in achieving its aims
