Places are allocated by the Local Authority (not the school) in the following priority order:
- Looked-after children or children in public care.
- Children with exceptional medical or social needs.
- Children who have an older brother or sister (living at the same address) already attending the school.
- Children who live nearest to the school
Applying for a Y1 - Y6 Place
If you would like a place at Wilbraham then you will need to come and visit us at our school office to fill out an admissions form which will be sent off to Manchester School Admissions for processing.
If we can offer you a place then your child will be admitted to our school as soon as possible following the Local Authority's Admissions Policy. If there are no spare places, you should contact the Admissions Team at the Local Authority who may be able to find you a place in another local school. If you still want to be considered for Wilbraham Primary School, your childs name will be placed on a waiting list.
If you do not want to wait and you think there are special reasons why your child should be given a place at Wilbraham Primary School, you can make an appeal by contacting Manchester School Admissions.
